My wife tried to kick my camera out of my hand while shooting me the bird ! I was running for my life and still managed to get the shot !

Looks liek it was cut from another photo and pasted in.

Anyway, she's probably mad that you spent so much on your camera when she has holes in her stockings and that tiny diamond on her finger . . .

heheheh, that is funny honestly! My girl is the best, she could have gotten any rock she wanted but she doesnt like big jewelry or big diamonds so I got lucky.. She always laughs at the women who want huge show off jewelry.. She is down to earth and the furthest thing from materialistic. The worn stockings? they got ripped with me fighting off my advances! LOL..

And tim, I agree the DOF is bad.. It was the 1.8 50mm at very close range, I was lucky to obtain focus..

thats great that she doesnt care about the material stuff. now her husband just has to get on board too. i mean really if she doesnt want a big rock the least you could have done is bought the kit lens instead of the 70-200. its a fair deal. lol

You got me there, the 70-200 was the beggining of my love affair with really good lenses. Now I want that 85mm 1.2 !! LOL... Hey, even though she isnt materialistic, she likes to spend a good amount of money on the kids so it all evens out... She is very cool about me getting stuff because she supports me in my love for photography.. Plus, I have made enough money to pay for it with weddings and product photography so it's all good..

At first I thought, "Boy, what did you do to tick her off so much?", LOL. Nice job on the quick reflexes.

BTW, I have a gold band on my finger but L lenses in my camera bag. :)

I think she is mad that I posted that pic so here is a better one I took of her! She is a great subject.. My women is very good to me and the reason I like to take pictures so much. She is tough though and can take me down quite easisly..LOL

what the heck is DOF ???

stands for Depth of field. That basically means how much of the subject will be in focus given your lens, distance and aperture.
