I personally like the photos I take but I thought it would be nice to see what some others think. :)

This one was taken from the fishing pier in Ocean City, Maryland. I'd love to hear some comments.

Good job, I like where you have placed the horizon though it is slightly overexposed which means my eye keeps getting drawn to the big bright wave at the bottom.

Bill, Welcome to the Forum. Nice shot overall, but more DOF would have rendered the background more in focus. I view this as a landscape, landscapes usually have the entire field of view in focus.
Now you have 2 pennies from me :)

Beatiful! I agree with the dof suggested. First thing I thought of when I saw this was "Oil painting". Can be done in photoshop.
