Hi, could I have some pointers please on how to start selling online?

What online photoselling, hosting, printing services etc?
Links, advice and experiences please.
(Please bear in mind I'm in the UK - if that's relevant to printing etc?)

I want to be able to host my pics and sell them either as prints and/or for full size image usage licence, online

I have been looking at smugmug, but it doesn't look very 'professional' i.e it's very amateur orientated with professional add ons and doesn't provide for licencing the images professionally (Tell me I'm wrong!) :)

Thanks

Take a look at photobox.com

They do a pretty natty job with the pro gallery where you set your prices.

You can also use their print button facility to "enable" your own gallery

thatks for that Baz, but they don't do image licensing

Is it only image banks that do that? Are there no online do it yerself versions?

www.photoshelter.com will let you licence your images, but they don't provide printing in the UK as yet - but it should be in the pipeline.

Also worth a look is: http://www.thirdlight.com/
