You made it look so frigid! I like the look of it! Ordered the WA 82mm adaptor from B&H today (in stock). Should be here by Monday and I will let you know if the Lee Polarizer competes with the Hoya.

Wow! I really like how that one came out! Better tonight than last night in the snow though. My friend lost his coat at Harper's Ferry, so a 2 mile walk back to Kenmore Square was out so we "had" to take a cab. I may have some photos from the show though...we'll see if any come out.

Hey mumbles et al,
Got up to the Whites today. No machines, just snowshoes. I'll see if I have anything post-worthy.
BTW: I got more victims for the Boston Bike Photo Extravanganza next spring. Expect two sets of photo tandemists.

But now that's blown ;) We probably drove past each other. A few times. I'm not happy with this photo. I need the 100-400 to really get in close. And the angle doesn't convey speed. (The dogs were barely trotting, granted). But i'd love to get these guys in full speed.

Love those night shots, Brendan. And that brown dog in front reminds me of mine when she was younger!

Don, i'm certainly not the master. I'll be up there again trying to catch these dam dogs. I waited and waited. Usually military aircraft have a habit, especially at airshows of buzzing you from the opposite direction you expect them. Well this time, the dogs came from behind and i had 2 seconds to adjust. Oh, I thought I'd pass on that the DeCordova Museum (Lincoln MA) has a good photography exhibit on now that I recommend called Presumed Innocence.
http://www.decordova.org/decordova/exhibit/2008/Presumed%20Innocence.htm
I went to see it last Saturday and was lucky enough to meet one of the photographers, Laura McPhee, who gave a nice talk about her work. She was kind enough to let me photograph her in front of one of her pieces. She uses one of those old-fashioned mahogany Deardorff viewfinder cameras that shoots 8x10" negatives. Pretty wild. If you're not familiar with her stuff, here's a short description of her work she did for her exhibit at the Museum of Fine Arts: http://www.boston.com/ae/theater_arts/specials/lauramcphee/

I would not take an SLR daily on a commute unless you can isolate it in a backpack. Anything "on the bike" will transfer too much vibration to the camera and loosen things that will cost you dearly to have "fixed".
Why not this route?
http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=quincy+center,+quincy+ma++to+11+milk+street,+bos ton+ma&sll=37.0625,-95.677068&sspn=49.444078,74.882813&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=12
Even better, get someone with a good GPS and set up the parameters of No divided roads AND shortest route.

yeah i meant it as a general route. I'll be following the beach for a decent amount of it. That's where i'm thinking possibly bringing the stuff. You never know. Especially in the summer in Boston. There will be a sudden outbreak and protest downtown, all the time it happens. Run downstairs catch a couple pics and head back up. :)
Edit: Not worried about things getting loose. I'd mostly be carrying it in a well padded bag regardless. It's mostly an issue of weight/bulk.

Good for you! I've been riding, but only 2-3 times a week. Just got back from a nice 35-mile ride before the sun set.
My guess is that there are some decent bike commuter routes that stay off of the really busy roads. Give MassBike a call for recommended routes (www.massbike.org (http://www.massbike.org)). I did the Hub on Wheels ride last fall (http://www.hubonwheels.org) and they went from Boston down to Quincy and looped back to Goverment Center along the coast. Very pretty.
I recommend carrying photo gear in your backpack -- this will keep your gear safe while riding.

I did notice it the other night on the way back home from DC. It didn't look quite so blue to me. It looked more pure white. My guess is that they switched from Halogen bulbs to LED's. Now if they changed to color changing LED's that'd be kickass.

Btw, went back to the same restaurant and got the waitress's number! j/k. But she was quite nice to me a second time around.

Cyclocross bikes RULE for commuting and general urban / seasonal use. Get some fenders for that pup, and you can ride rain or shine. They're super durable and you can get one pretty cheap.
17 of us rode Sunday, and I'd say that more that 3/4s had cyclocross bikes. Then when you get back on the road bike, you feel supercharged.

It's the $13,000 Smart FourTwo, a souped-up shopping cart with doors. ;) I want to like it. There should be a cheap, drivable, insanely efficient car for use in the city. This ain't it, tho. Too expensive, horrible dynamics, and not-good-enough fuel economy.

Too bad about the smartcar. :(
So, the weather is slowly getting warmer, and i figure in a few weeks we may have temps that are reasonable for riding. Perhaps we should start planning ahead. I was personally thinking something like, around Boston and perhaps up to Harvard area and if we can make it that far, to the Mt. Auburn Cemetary. I'm not sure how it'd be now in the very early spring, but i figure it may be worth a shot.
If anyone has any suggestions, let's get this ball rolling! :)

Bryan! This is intended to be an easy fun way to make images without parking hassles, costs, fuel etc.
I assume we are using to bikes to slow down and "smell and see the Roses". Don't worry about a kick ass 50 mile peloton ride. This should be fun. If there is a "breakaway", so be it, but I see us all turning into a "seeing" group"! I don't think anybody should be intimidated into not coming along for this/these as long as they:
A.) Love making images!
B.) Can get around reasonably well on their own mechanically sound bicycle!
Maybe we can do a prelude in the Seekonk, NW RI area to feel it out! And how about that dinner we talked about on Federal Hill?

Hey guyz ~ mumbles let me know that there were some bike / photo planning to be done.
Here's a route that's under 20 miles. It starts and ends at Redbones BBQ in Somerville. There is free parking on Sunday's at a municipal lot, and the idea of good grub and beer at the end of our journey would be most welcome.
The idea here is to head into Harvard Sq. for some shooting, then head along the Charles (more shooting) and head towards Boston Common. From there's we'd cruise down Newbury St, hit some of the Emerald Necklace parks and make our way to the Arnold Arboretum.

A warmup ride/shoot locally (to us, Don) would be great! I'm hoping to get over to the East Bay Bike path before it gets too crowded. It's all flat, runs from Providence to Bristol through Barrington and Colt State Park.

A sub 20 mile ride/shoot anywhere around here would work. And dinner on the hill would be good, too. Maybe do some shooting around there while it's still light and then grab dinner?? Let me talk to my social planner (ie, wife) and I'll let you know. Obviously, anyone else would be more than welcome to join us, right??

If you are talking about the East Bay Bike path, yes there are many opportunities for images. Normally, we don't ride bike paths because of all the stopping and the walkers, skateboarders, 3 and 4 abreast of everything. But for image making, every stop is an opportunity.

I'm not really sure if I could do 20 miles on this bike, it's not a street bike by any means... Of course, if you guys think you'll be going pretty slow, it might be worth a shot if I'm free.

Yeah, lots of walkers on the bike path. Let me see if I can come up with a route that is under 20 miles that would take us by some picture-esq spots around here. I grew up in Rehoboth, and there are numerous places in town that I've wanted to shoot....the old village, congregational church, some small waterfalls, a few historic cemeteries. There are also some interesting urban places around, like Pawtucket, although I'm not sure how bike friendly it would be riding around there!
Don, I'm guessing you road ride a lot around, so you must have some decent routes for riding/shooting around Cumberland/Woonsocket/Lincoln, etc???
We could always try to ride around the East Side of Providence, and venture down the hill into downcity and back out to federal hill. LOTS of photo ops in Providence in a relatively compact area. :)

The Brown and RISD area and quite soon the al fresco dining along Atwells Ave and environs will be starting. On the East Side there is always Swan Point cemetery, but I have been kicked out of there so many times it hardly seems worth it. But there are some great images (as well to Historic graves) to be seen there.
Up around here in the NE corner of the state, there are a few interesting routes. One from my house goes up around the reservoir into MA and back.
I think something that provides vistas, older semi urban and antique would be ideal!

Don, that last line sums it up!! We can get all of that in Providence. I think this time of year, a more "urban" ride would be better for photos, since all the trees are grey. That being said, I'll give my vote for a bike/photo tour around Providence. When I get home tonight, I'll plot out a google map and post a suggested route. I'll also suggest a date of Sunday morning, March 30, weather permitting.
I'm also interested in the Boston ride.
Here's a link to some of my shots of Providence to give non locals an idea of what there is to see:

Ok, I made up a very rudimentary google map route for a 13 mile ride in Providence.

It would take us in a loop around the east side, to the state house, along water a bit, downtown, up to federal hill, back to the water and back to the park where we started. We'd get to see the old homes and buildings on the east side, the WWII & Irish famine memorials, RISD, Brown U, Point Street Bridge, the Superman Building downtown, etc.
Suggestions, Don or anyone? My wife and I are going to try to do a dry run in the car this weekend to check out parking at the start and a few of the stops along the way.

Hey guys, I heard you talking about bikes, and I couldn't help but join in.
I''ll come along where ever you end up planning, I've been riding about 15-20 miles a day all winter, so I'd be up for a long distance slog if that ends up happening.

Hey guys, I heard you talking about bikes, and I couldn't help but join in.
Cool beans! You'd be more than welcome to join in the fun. I think the idea would be to cruise around Boston and focus on photography, so it should be an easy fun ride. The key will be to have a good way to carry the gear. I'll be using my backpack and a tripod bag, slung messenger-style. Should be great fun.
I'd like to wait for slightly warmer weather .... maybe April 13 or 20th?
Some roads are still a bit iffy:

pmk, either of those two dates are ok with me at this point, although the 13th is the day after the Providence beer festival, so I may be a bit groggy!!

This image reminds me of the time that Pauline and I mapped out a route for a tandem ride that showed us a road through the Hockomock Swamp! Not one of my better ideas! No wonder She doesn't trust me on these things anymore. LOL

Looks good to me. Unlike all of you others, I have not been on the bike for a long time. In fact, I just started the treadmill a month ago, so the 13 miler fits my expectations very well. I hope to get out around here a few times prior, if it wold just stop raining,

I think some folks are confusing or blending the 2 rides we have been discussing. Bryan has prepared a 13 mile around Providence (Oh, goes by Hunt Camera) for Sunday March 30 and PMK has routed a 20 miler around the Boston area for mid April (actual date TBD).

Actually, I don't think there's confusion. I threw out two possible dates: maybe April 13 or 20th? I'm waiting to hear back from our main man, mumbles, about what he'd prefer.

I just meant that I have noted people talking about joining in whenever and there has not been much talk about the fact that there have been discussions about 2 locations PVD And BOS.
I would hope to do both. But I need to get out! I envy your dedication to getting out all year! Only rode all year a couple of times in my life!
Brendan is away this weekend and as April comes around, he will be "chomping at the bit" to set the date. Maybe we should set April 13 as a goal with April 20 as a backup in case of distasteful weather.

I was going to suggest the same thing for the PVD ride...if it rain/snows/tornadoes on the 30th, we move it out to April 5th instead.
I'm planning on riding tomorrow for the first time since last summer!

I was planning on riding into work tomorrow AM, assuming my bike doesn't need a major tune up. I remember I was having some shifter issues and the front brake needed adjustment the last time I rode it. If I need to work on it, I'll go for a short ride after the tune up in the afternoon if I get out of work early enough, but I don't think the timing will work out.

So I drove around Providence today to try to figure out a bike route for those interested. I followed my initial route I posted last week, and made several changes.
What I ended up with are 2 routes, one is about 13.5 miles and the other is about 16 miles. The main difference is the short route cuts out Federal Hill.
Long Route (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=14439881496125781589,41.828090,-71.400660%3B4890353502239071949,41.825492,-71.400822%3B12775618660993655757,41.827600,-71.406543%3B180821328431551096,41.832648,-71.409557%3B16731988976976928611,41.819389,-71.400779%3B2583062208053597844,41.831529,-71.412885%3B9319844820259986929,41.828929,-71.415230%3B14981557594608961299,41.819900,-71.404110%3B17245333781570888278,41.823278,-71.417105%3B17422402514888231501,41.823586,-71.426539%3B13962945980002223954,41.824030,-71.432470%3B3671342029530032140,41.820459,-71.389688%3B16107758662440551620,41.826806,-71.382593&saddr=River+Dr,+Providence,+Providence,+Rhode+Isla nd+02906,+United+States&daddr=585+Blackstone+Blvd,+Providence,+RI+02906+(S wan+Point+Cemetery)+to:brown+stadium,+providence,+ ri+to:Angell+St+%4041.828090,+-71.400660+to:George+St+%4041.825492,+-71.400822+to:1+Prospect+St+%23+1,+Providence,+RI+0 2912+(Brown+University)+to:Angell+St+%4041.827600, +-71.406543+to:prospect+park,+providence,+ri+to:Jenc kes+St+%4041.832648,+-71.409557+to:224+Benefit+St,+Providence,+RI+02903+ (Rhode+Island+School+of+Design:+Museum+of+Art)+to: Benefit+St+%4041.819389,+-71.400779+to:roger+williams+national+memorial+to:8 2+Smith+St+%23+208,+Providence,+RI+02903+(State+of +Rhode+Island:+Library)+to:Francis+St%2FUS-1+%4041.828929,+-71.415230+to:41.82861,-71.411669+to:Unknown+road+%4041.819900,+-71.404110+to:111+Westminster+street,+providence,+r i+to:Sabin+St%2FUS-1+S+%4041.823278,+-71.417105+to:Atwells+Ave+%4041.823586,+-71.426539+to:Atwells+Ave+%4041.824030,+-71.432470+to:200+broadway,+providence,+ri+to:1+dav ol+square,+providence,+ri+to:Wickenden+St+%4041.82 0459,+-71.389688+to:Pitman+St%2FRichmond+Square+%4041.826 806,+-71.382593+to:River+Dr,+providence,+ri&mra=dpe&mrcr=7&mrsp=14&sz=16&via=3,4,6,8,10,13,14,15,17,18,22,23&dirflg=h&sll=41.828706,-71.410124&sspn=0.011784,0.019999&ie=UTF8&ll=41.833311,-71.408815&spn=0.047132,0.079994&t=h&z=14)

There are numerous modifications we could make on the fly, but I tried to pick a route that will take us by a lot of the historic buildings (homes, churches, universities, gov't) on the east side, give us some nice views of the skyline, pass by the State House, the riverwalk and all the sculptures along the water, downcity for at the very least the Superman building, up to Federal Hill, and back along the water by the abandoned rail bridge.
How do all interested parties feel about either of these routes for Sunday, March 30 starting in the morning (weather permitting)? Any suggestions or modifications are welcomed.

Either one. Short is most likely better considering time to stop etc. Have you ever thought about the number of people who have NO idea what the "Superman" building is!
Anyway, I am in for whatever!

Yeah, I did consider that. I thought by referring to it as the Superman building, it would build curiosity and entice others to join us!!

I'm looking forward to riding and shooting around Providence this Sunday. I rode about 10 miles Monday with my 20 pounds of gear on my back. Ugh, I'm outta shape. :(
The weather is looking good (sunny, mid 40's) and I think I've got a pretty good "suggested" route mapped out (I say suggested because we could change it up as we ride). Yes, I've revised it one last time to this 13 mile route (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=1778683766004391732,41.829360,-71.392130%3B1157365945343109393,41.825800,-71.397250%3B12775618660993655757,41.827600,-71.406543%3B180821328431551096,41.832648,-71.409557%3B16731988976976928611,41.819389,-71.400779%3B2583062208053597844,41.831529,-71.412885%3B9319844820259986929,41.828929,-71.415230%3B5023532548577423093,41.828630,-71.411710%3B14981557594608961299,41.819900,-71.404110%3B17245333781570888278,41.823278,-71.417105%3B17422402514888231501,41.823586,-71.426539%3B13962945980002223954,41.824030,-71.432470%3B3671342029530032140,41.820459,-71.389688%3B16107758662440551620,41.826806,-71.382593&saddr=River+Dr,+Providence,+Providence,+Rhode+Isla nd+02906,+United+States&daddr=Angell+St+%4041.829360,+-71.392130+to:Hope+St+%4041.825800,+-71.397250+to:1+Prospect+St+%23+1,+Providence,+RI+0 2912+(Brown+University)+to:Angell+St+%4041.827600, +-71.406543+to:prospect+park,+providence,+ri+to:Jenc kes+St+%4041.832648,+-71.409557+to:224+Benefit+St,+Providence,+RI+02903+ (Rhode+Island+School+of+Design:+Museum+of+Art)+to: Benefit+St+%4041.819389,+-71.400779+to:roger+williams+national+memorial+to:8 2+Smith+St+%23+208,+Providence,+RI+02903+(State+of +Rhode+Island:+Library)+to:Francis+St%2FUS-1+%4041.828929,+-71.415230+to:Park+Row+%4041.828630,+-71.411710+to:Unknown+road+%4041.819900,+-71.404110+to:111+Westminster+street,+providence,+r i+to:Sabin+St%2FUS-1+S+%4041.823278,+-71.417105+to:Atwells+Ave+%4041.823586,+-71.426539+to:Atwells+Ave+%4041.824030,+-71.432470+to:200+broadway,+providence,+ri+to:41.82 0119,-71.414223+to:1+davol+square,+providence,+ri+to:Wic kenden+St+%4041.820459,+-71.389688+to:Pitman+St%2FRichmond+Square+%4041.826 806,+-71.382593+to:River+Dr,+providence,+ri&mra=dpe&mrcr=8&mrsp=19&sz=16&via=1,2,4,6,8,11,12,13,15,16,19,21,22&dirflg=h&sll=41.820103,-71.414416&sspn=0.012105,0.019934&ie=UTF8&ll=41.825604,-71.397529&spn=0.048417,0.079737&z=14).

I would say 8 or 9 am, in case any of you Boston area folks are planning on driving down. Probably no later than that, since the streets will start to fill up with cars/suvs by late morning. Once we get a head count, we can take vote on the best time for everyone.

The only bike I have with me is my brother's Mongoose mountain bike (or maybe it's one of those rock hopping bikes...I'm not sure). I'm not really sure if I could do 20 miles on this bike, it's not a street bike by any means... Of course, if you guys think you'll be going pretty slow, it might be worth a shot if I'm free.
I'm sure you could keep up and those granny gears would rock you up the hills...
Man all this talk about bikes and here i am stuck at home with a torn ACL/PCL :(

I probably could keep up...though I'm not sure about keeping up while carrying gear on my back :p. I unfortunately don't even really have a good bag to carry camera gear in...that's on the list of things to purchase once I graduate and get a job...only two more months...till the graduating part at least.

Alright, here's the deal for Sunday's Providence ride. We'll meet along River Drive in Providence near the Narragansett Boat Club. There is plenty of free parking along the road there for Blackstone Park and the Boat Club.
For directions, use google maps and enter from your location to "River Dr, Providence, RI". (For some reason, if you enter river drive instead of river dr, it puts you in another town.) If you need an address, enter 2 River Dr, the address of the boat club.
How does 8:30 am sound? We'll meet then, and hang out for 15 minutes or so for any stragglers. :)
So it's myself, Don, maybe mumbles, and..... anyone else? Yes, we can stop at a Starbucks if anyone needs a fix!

OK, 8:30 it is! And just to prove how in shape I am, I am picking my unridden freshly tuned bike up in the AM Saturday! So Starbucks is a need, not a want. LOL How about it Brendan?

Bryan:
I think you need to clarify it a little more. I Google mapped the location and Boat Club and got :
1 in North Providence off Rt. 7 North of Mineral Spring
1 Around RISD
And 1 in Johnston
None of which are on the water. Is this on River Drive just North of Waterman and on the River?

Ok, I just tried it. If you enter 2 river dr, you get Johnston and that's no good. In google maps, you have to enter it exactly as "River Dr, Providence, RI" and it returns the correct location. Here is a link (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&q=River+Dr,+Providence,+Providence,+Rhode+Island+0 2906,+United+States&sll=41.7998,-71.48051&sspn=0.012109,0.019934&ie=UTF8&cd=2&geocode=0,41.832600,-71.378060&t=h&z=16&iwloc=addr) to the start/finish location. I guess google maps isn't perfect!
Yes Don, it is the River Dr north of Waterman along the Seekonk River. Here is the site for directions to the boat club.

We will meet up right around there. So far it's me, you and another who PM'd me.

Wow, the State of Rhode Island has made a mess out of the directions to get to River Dr where we are starting thanks to the 195 relocation. The link I posted earlier for the Narragansett Boat Club directions are out of date. If you are taking the highway (Rt 95 to Rt 195 East), note that exit 3 Gano Street is CLOSED. And google, mapquest, yahoo and AAA are all out of date with regards to exit closures.
Here are what should be the most accurate directions:
From Rt 95 South:
Take Exit 27
Turn Left at George Street-continue to follow George St
Slight Right at East Avenue
Left at Blackstone Blvd
Continue on Butler Ave
Turn Left at Angell Street
Turn Left at River Dr
From Rt 95 North:
Take Exit 27
Merge onto Pearl Street
Turn Right at George Street
See above directions from George Street to River Dr.
Here is our starting point:
River Dr, Providence, RI (http://maps.google.com/maps?f=q&hl=en&geocode=&q=river+dr,+providence,+ri&sll=42.029755,-71.596705&sspn=0.772189,1.275787&ie=UTF8&z=16&iwloc=addr)
Had I known it was going to be such a cluster to get there, we'd have started elsewhere. If anyone should get lost in the city, give me a call and I'll try my best to get you to us. 508-559-3535

Whew, we had a great time today on our ride around Providence. We did more riding than shooting, covering about 13 miles. We think a p&s may be better for riding and shooting instead of lugging around all that gear. Oh, and don't ever listen to me when I say "This is the last hill" Sorry Davis! :)
Here are 2 that I processed so far.

So I'm done with college in a week and a half and graduation is just under a month away. I have an outstanding offer from NUWC, down in Newport, RI, and I'm pretty sure I'm going to accept the offer.
"Unfortunately" I know absolutely nothing about Newport! So while I have one friend from school who's willing to show me around, if anyone wants to meet up in Newport, definitely let me know! I'm busy the next two weekends, as well as the weekend of May 17th (Graduation!), but if anyone wants to walk around Newport any other weekend in May, definitely let me know.
Also, if anyone has tips/suggestions/etc on where to live in the Newport area, definitely let me know. My lease in Worcester ends on May 31st (though my roommates are staying, so I'm only "officially" getting kicked out), so assuming I take the NUWC offer I'm going to need a place relatively soon...

Newport is an awesome place! My wife and I would love to join you for a walk around and some photo shooting. I'm sure some others here would be up for that as well. After your graduation would be fine, we're on vaca in the Pacific Northwest from the last 2 weeks in May. There are some great places to shoot around there-Fort Adams, Fort Wetherill, Thames Street, Newport Bridge and Harbour, the mansions, the cliff walk, etc and I've been dying to get down there again.

Unfortunately anywhere near Newport/East Bay/South County will be very expensive, comparatively, especially since you will be looking close to summer when real estate is prime in that area. If you don't mind a little drive E. Providence or Fall River aren't far and much more affordable (both 'over the bridge' and fairly easy to get to Newport in about 20 minutes from) - not to mention easier to get ANYWHERE from. Newport (an island) can be such a PITA to get off of in inclement weather or traffice.
Personally I avoid Newport like the plague in the summer unless I'm taking the ferry down from Providence.
Although I'd love to join people I'm enjoying the prison they call pregnancy induced bed rest and expect to stay that way, god willing, until the end of summer - so all those good outings are out for me. I'm enjoying tinkering with PS CS2 in the mean time but I'd love some new photos outside. Have fun for me!

BTW - does NUWC mean the naval war college? My husband interviewed for a position in the war games area a few years ago - big turn over but he would have loved it. Lost it to a less qualified person who had military history, unfortunately.

From my husbands account that all I do all day  He's just mad he has to watch our 2 year old (which I don't blame him on) but at least the weather has been nice enough to shove her out into the yard to burn off some energy...
Still saving my pennies for a starter light set for the basement - the baby is due in September and as a result getting nice lighting/outdoor shots will be out of the question with a newborn so I need a nice set up for the winter... just holding out for this incentive package we're being promised

I think that there's a naval war college on the base, but I'm actually not sure. My offer is for a purely civilian engineering role, though it's developing things directly for the navy.
As far as living in East Providence or elsewhere, I'm not really sure what I'm doing yet. I have to accept the offer first, though I'm fairly certain I will be accepting this offer :). Then I'll probably at least look around at prices around Newport. If I find something good, awesome, if not, there's plenty of other places around to look!

Actually it is a 29 year old lady who works and supports her retired Mom and Dad and, in spite of that, saves most of her other money for these extended trips. She leaves in the morning for London. She bought 20 rolls of Velvia 100F and 20 rolls of Velvia 400X at Calumet because it was "such a deal". I guess compared to Argentina (where she just came from) and London (where she goes next) it is a bargain here!

1d2 MKIII for everyone! lol...
I can't wait to be Don's age... Anyhow, interesting story, she must post her photos online though since she's on Flickr right?
On the subject of "being my age and all the benefits and risks of being older, I Just got back from my Oncologist appointment and I guess I am blessed . . . . . because I have reached a milestone! My visits and CAT Scans have now been moved from every 12 weeks to 6 MONTHS! Dr. Nadeem has asked me to speak to a group at the Hospital in June at an event called "Survivors Day"! What a nice sounding word SURVIVOR is.
As Dr. Nadeem said, today, "Life is a gift, be thankful and enjoy every moment!"
WITH THAT IN MIND, I WANT TO GET BACK TO SOME STUDIO SHOOTING. I HAD A STUDIO YEARS AGO AND GAVE IT UP BECAUSE OF MY TRAVEL SCHEDULE. DOES ANYONE KNOW OF SHARED OR RENTAL STUDIO FACILITIES BETWEEN PROVIDENCE AND BOSTON ?
DOES ANYONE ELSE SOUTH OF BOSTON HAVE ANY SIMILAR DESIRES?
