figured why not add some personal protection rounds as well as target. I mainly did it for the diffrent color casings.

the hard part about a 365 is what to shoot when its dark when you get home from work.
I'm sure it will get easier as the days get longer. or I'll bring a point at shoot with me to the city.

plenty of parking inthe area. Free at night if you can find a spot. If not, $7 by the Charlestown Marriott hotel. No sure about daytime. Metered parking.

Yeah name change is necessary every 4000 posts. :)

Grid allows you to control the light. So instead of having it blast to entire scene, you control it and the spill-off to things like the background and you can create pleasing effects with it by narrowing the light to only where you need it.

You could always go into the middle of busy streets and take some shots that you normally can't get. One way to have some fun... either that or some macro stuff on some flakes :)

Unfortunately the storm wasn't as crazy as it was made out to be.

I did get stuck in snow as the entrance to my work was unplowed. Some nice guy in a SUV pulled me out with a tow line. He didn't ask for anything but I insisted on giving him 20 bucks for giving a helping hand.

Anyone know if Microcenter is open.. might head over to pick up some stuff to build this computer for a friend ugh

I bought mine really cheap on Ebay. The Huey.

These things also have "live" adjustment capability and can mess with the brightness of the display based on ambient light. My wife used that for a while, my room is generally constant enough. What I'm saying is it's good to have it permanently.
