Work Publication requirements

I was just wondering on how to start out trying to get some of my work recognized for publication. My recent shoots have been of models in fashion, glamour and casual assignments.

Where does one start / learn who and how to approach regarding taking on assignments for publication as well as submitting previous work for potential publication..


Any advice would be appreciated.

Here I'd suggest you start with these. I don't see where you couldn't work with out of the country editors. ;)

Yeah, get a copy of the 2005 Photographers market, and get a coup[le of magazines that carry images of what you shoot.

Read a couple of their issues and then send them a bunch of your photos that conform to their "style". Its important to know your viewers.
