I like them. Number two I like best but both are nice. Very very cold. Amazing.

Wow! Both are very nice, but that second one is really incredible! Love the icicles framing the falls.

The hichlights of #2 are abit burnt out but apart of that both look absolutely awesome.
With long lens...well?wich one?

I think if you check the histogram you'll see there is little or no high clipping in the photo. Sometimes subjects in an image, like white ice, simply have no detail to bring out.

I used a 5D with a Canon 300mm f4 L IS and the 1.4X Canon extender, ISO 50, 1.6 second exposure at f40, the EXIF data is included with the file.

To be honest i didn`t even check anything,just what i saw on the screen.
300L eh? Interesting,need to try that sometime.
You`re probably right about white ice.
