Coal: he is a kitten who was rescued in quite a sad, flea infested condition along with the rest of his and another litter. Unfortunately some of the kittens he came in with didn't survive.

ok - HOW did you get your cat to tolerate being clipped? because my longhairs keep licking mats into their fur and it's getting really old, so i want to clip them for summer, but i cant IMAGINE putting the clippers near them and then turning them on...

I'm going to have to clip my cat too. I spoke to a vet that recommended using anesthesia on the cat so they don't struggle and get hurt. But I find that my cat doesn't seem to mind the clippers....she just never sits still!

I have a cat that hates the brush. She goes to the vet twice a year to get shaved. They have to use anesthesia. She looks rediculous afterwards but she loves it.

I bring her to a local groomer that I've used for some time. Some groomers don't do cats. No anesthesia is involved. Not all cats go for this. As far as mats go, I use a metal comb instead of a brush. -Brian

Mellow is an indoor only cat, as per the agreement of the shelter we adopted him from, however I do take him out occasionally to sniff the air and nibble on the grass. we live near a very busy road so I always keep him on the leash

The two on the left, Junior & Gizmo, are feral rescues from my neighborhood, and Kosmo on the right is another rescue. Thank goodness I'm replacing these windows soon! (This is also an early shot with the 50D.)

As for cats, well we have never owned pets (fur allergic both of us) but cats are devil & angel in one parcel. Oh, I always have a chat with ones I see in the street and my aura must be good because they will in the main come and say hello. :lol:

That's actually a really cool shot.

That is her perch. She loves the top of the printer and the top of the TV due to the heat, I believe. I enjoy printing something when she is up there. ;)

I also have this one of her yawning, but it looks more sinister than that.
