You're either very, very brave or you have the ability to sleep with one eye open... :lol:Ping (the first photo) was quite patient and didn't mind dressing up as a pumpkin, but Mysie was seriously peeved. She hates being humiliated and is undoubtedly planning her revenge, which will come when I least expect it.

Wanted to test out the new umbrella, first time using one. Bella the cat decided she wanted to sniff the lens, and then get in the photo laying next to it, shot in pitch dark manual focusing so half of them were trash.

great pictures...I love cats...

Here are a couple form the shelter I volunteer at, this is Qwill he is about 8 months and is a polydactyl which means he has extra claws.

I used the kit lens 18-55 and flash bounced off the ceiling A $4.00 fleece from walmart as a backdrop- so the pictures dont show the nast wooden cages.

At our house, it's simply the best place to catch some sun. We face south but have a huge tree out front that keeps the sun off the house so Bella loves the east (morning) and west (afternoon) facing windows.

Glad you like... ;)

Our Bella came with that name from the shelter and we liked it so Bella she remains...

Both our cats love fresh laundry too. I always have to remember to leave a dark t-shirt on top before I fold. If I leave a white one on top, it's just going back in the laundry.

There was no margin of error in this experiment......

The moment wouldn't wait for my 20D.
I did apply filters as it was a little grainy because of low light and hand held.

You bathed a cat? You're a braver man than I am, Gunga Din! The only time any cat of mine ever needed a bath, I went to a groomer!

We had our cat bathed at the vets. They have a rule where they don't let anyone beyond the exam rooms.
When I went back to pick him up, they told me "You better come back here and get him. He's pissed at us!"

For all that he has been through he is extremely affectionate and loving.

The shadow cat. She is a very petite and affectionate kitty. When she showed up, it was the middle of winter and she was already great with kitten. It was a rough time for her and she had to have a c-section. While Shadow was in the vet hospital, I had to feed the babies goat's milk every couple hours around the clock. Was I happy when Shadow came home and took over the mama kitty job. They were all so cute that we kept one of the litter of four.

This is Jenny she is Quad's sister you can usually find her 40 feet up a tree hunting Red Squirrels

this is Missy she is 20 years old and is hanging in there pretty good the old girl doesn't have many teeth left and doesn't move so great but she puts the run on Quad when he gets a little to frisky

#1 is brave!

Just got my Canon XSI the other day and have been playing around in the house. I live in Wisconsin so it is not too nice outside.

Let me know your thoughts. Still learning going from point and shoot to the XSI.

No photoshop, just straight out of the camera. Will shoot raw once I get adobe CS3 working properly.
