Oh yes, our Gipsy is pretty much the same, unless she looks psychopathically at the camera or turns her head in search for the fastest escape route. Some cats know exactly how to pose and others dramatically don't.

YEAH, I remember, a friend of mine once had one. It was declawed, which I thought was kind of horrible, but it was so incredibly cute and personable. She'd always be on me and was kind of demanding in an adorable way, though. He, however, was not so nice and eventually gave her away... pitty. I would've taken her immediately, but we already had two and eventually moved out of the country.

Fascinating and very loving cats, though. I'd label them "inspiring" as well, especially if you're a creature creator, HAHA! :lol:

Naw, this was shot outside one of those simple resort places with a line of terraces house and a few grills. There were 7 strays out there who ate pretty much anything, and I woke up early before most of my friends at around 6.30 (we slept at 4) to shoot these cats. It was a purple sky'ed early morn.

Thanks...yep, just a little.. ;) Not trying to pass it off for anything it's not though, that one saw quite a bit of processing. You might be right, I'll scale the eyes back a bit. ;) she IS the queen kitty of the house w/ the 3 boy kitties in the house. I ♥ her. All she asks for in life is a fuzzy blanket and a lap & her big plush cow she kneeds on, she thanks you for providing her with these things by kissing you on the nose... quite often excessively to the point of it being quite painful... LOL... it IS a dreadful thing to wake up to as adorable as it sounds :lol: but I missed the heck out of it when she was lost for 3 days & loved the heck out of it when she woke me up with it when she was back home when we found her :)

Hair rising statement for me as mine runs to door every time it is open and she has always been an indoor cat. I guess this has to do with that ugly bully cat that when we are not home comes to door and makes mesmerizing meoooos. I know I am talking like one zelous Dad but then she is a total teenager compatable for me at age 8 months and better listen to Dad's humanly advise...
I do have the pleasure of those nose kisses and can't wait to see one from your baby.

pretty cat, is that a Burman?Thanks, I passed on the praise to Mal ... she is a vain kitty that loves being told how beautiful she is. As for whether or not she is a Birman, dunno, she could be. We adopted her from the Humane Society (she ran away), and they told us that she was a Siamese-cross, with what who knows. :)

This last one was taken with the T/C removed wide open at F2.8, bit grumpy at myself here for not getting lower, but didn't exactly have all the time in the world. Also, this one was only 1/200th, so bit of motion blur as i was off balance :(

actually, the Birman (you would think it would be spelled "Burman", since they originated in Burma) should have completely white paws and blue eyes, which it does. maybe a Siamese/Birman cross. beautiful kitty nonetheless.

This is a really excellent image. If you have Lightroom, you might consider boosting the exposure on the cat 1/2 a stop.

Again, it's a really compelling photo.
