Thanks Bill...

She's a pretty ornery girl of 13 but she warms to people with a little time and attention.

Fluffiest darn cat I've ever seen. I think there's only about 1/3 of her under all that coat! :D

Cute tuxedo kitty. We had a rare snow on Christmas eve and I took Mr. Squeak (my avatar) out for his usual walk on a leash (he is a dog-cat), but he did not like snow touching his paws.

BTW, the link to the larger images does not work -- it leads to a page to sign up for flickr.

our other two cats hate the snow - and avoid it at all costs!

Hmm - maybe the link works only if you have a Flickr subscription/account? (I guess if you imagine them larger! lol) :D

Thank you for the comment, she has quite the personality too :) Maddie was a rescue through a contact my wife made on a Horse forum she frequents. She was found last winter covered in matted fur (played a part in naming her) and pretty skinny over in Maryland/Baltimore, the person who found her was unable to keep her but was driving towards NY that week. We offered to take her in and could not be more happy.

What a nice story. Good for you for taking her in! She is one beautiful cat; I absolutely love her markings. Thanks for posting more of her!

yeah what u think about them?

that's a beautiful cat - very regal.

but I was going to say - and if you are offended then just delete and forget - but if you're going to advertise professionally and put your logo on your work then you need to work on your image processing - those images have excessively high chroma, blown out highlights, and crushed blacks - just tone it all down a notch and your good to go. you may need to invest in a really good monitor that will show you these things in greater detail.

Another RSPCA rescue kitten, the only survivor of a litter of four, she was found in a dumpster at about a week old.

My wife fosters them until there fit enough to find a good home.

This little girl is going to be leaving us very soon, she's going to her new home. There will be a few tears when she goes, she has been such a wonderful character and has wone our hearts.

This little kitten had a bit of publicity via the local news paper, so there were lots of offers for re-homing. But we decided to home her with a friend of our daughters in the end.

Giving them up is the hardest part, especially when they come to us so small and are bottle fed every couple of hours, plus this little one had a few health issues, so the bond has been that little bit stronger.

Last one of her practising her stalking skills on my finger at the top edge of the stairs:

What will cats do when all the stores go to plastic bags? It will be a sad day. ;)

My guess is the pet stores would sell them as cat toys! :)

You discovered the true reason that many people want to ban plastic grocery bags. They claim that it's some sort of environmental nonsense but it's really because cats need places to hide and play.

Our local major chain (Frys in the west .. Kroger in the east) is apparently doing away with plastic entirely.

Only did a quickie self-checkout today for a couple items and all the platic was gone!

A couple of weeks ago I posted pics of Egon in his new box. Since then he's stretched it quite a bit and settles down deeper and deeper in it. Now when I try to take him out of the box I need three hands - two for the cat and one to pull the box off him. He's stuck!

Temperance.

My sister and brother in-law's cat, who had to be put to sleep today (RIP little sweetheart) at the age of 19. Her kidneys were failing, and there was simply no hope. They had never taken a photo of her, and I shot this over the Christmas holiday 3 weeks ago (by their request). I guess the timing was right.

If there's an afterlife, she's in a place now where the food bowl is always filled with tuna, and there are lots of butterflies to chase :)

Why do cats pull the T. paper roll? Because they see US do it! They are just imitating. Why do dogs dig up the flower beds? Because they see US do it! They just want to help.
