Happy Birthday Cyber!! It's her birthday today. I bought her a new electric blanket. Her last one had a four-hour auto-off feature. This one is a Sunbeam and stays on for 10 hours at a time so I don't have to worry about it turning off in the middle of the night. She loves it!

We think there's a cat that's only half as big under all that fluff though. She's 16 or so and definitely slowing down some. She has the funniest "squeak" instead of a meow.

Curiosity - almost killed my new Canon EF-S 10-22. Well, not killed it exactly, but I haven't had to clean cat slobber off my lens before ...

Nice one!

For some reason my cats both do that to my 8-16 all of the time... it must be something about wide angle lenses..

Luci has been enjoying the high perch of the new Cat Condo.
I had to shoot this at f/2 and ISO 6400, as the flash always bothers her, but I think it makes for an interesting monochrome conversion.

after 200 photos its no longer 'free' unless you open a secondary acct, tho I have no problem paying my $25 for using their service, I like using flickr for photoshairng.

Maybe it's useful for a small kitten, but all Luci does is peek into the tunnel.

Our cats favorite game is for us to collect all of their toys and then place them all over the climbing places in the house. Then they charge around and grab them all and toss them to the ground and wait for us to put them back up again! The tunnel is a favorite place for toys to go.

One of your kittehs reminds me a little of one of mine, but my Gizmo doesn't have a white nose & mouth. I was playing with a rented 24-70L (and about fell in love with it)

picked up a Tokina 50-135 2.8. Its a gem of a lens if you shoot crop :cool:.
