I just got a Canon G3 but don't like it so am getting the 10D. Does anyone know if the software that came with the G3 is the same software that comes with the 10D? If it is then I don't need to uninstall what is already on the computer. Thanks.

I don't know but found the software with the
10d buggy and slow. I now only use the
BreezeBrowser and Downloader Pro

Canon's ZoomBrowser is slow and clumsy and
full of bugs. The Downloader window can't
be used without the ZoomBrowser and it
sometimes seems to freeze for ages while
looking for removeable disks ....

I removed all Canon software except
for FotoStich which I seldom use.

BreezeBrowser has a very good RAW
convertor, HTML and proofs builder.

Addition: I used the A5, S10, D30, D60 and
now the 10D, this all came bundeled with
more or less the same software, ofcouse
newer versions ....
