I shot my first concert tonight. It was a blues band, Jaycob van Auken, from Oregon. Please let me know what you think of these photos and what you think I can do to improve. Thanks for looking!

Nice sharp pictures you got there. I think you did great for your first time.

Thanks Michael. I'm hoping that with practice I can learn how to work in the strange lighting as well. White balance is insane.

I think a little variety, such as full stage and head shots would be nice.

Can't believe that you are opting for sailing over coming to California! :-)

Thanks for the tips! I wanted more variety too. Any ideas how to accomplish this with only one fast prime :) I definitely will invest in an 85 1.8.

I opted for the sailing before I knew about the Cali trip. I signed up for Spring classes several months ago, and now it's set in stone. :) Oh well, I'll be down there in a few months.
