Canon admitting Focus Problem on some 10D's ?

Mine has been in the Canon repair shop once aready and was sent back still not focusing.... everyone I spoke to on the phone acted like they had never heard of such a thing as a 10D with focus issues.

Cross you fingers and pray to whatever god you hold dear that canon doesn't send you one of their "Lemons". Believe me when I tell you that there is no way to turn this lemon into lemonade.

It's funny that the other post mentions canon not wanting the store to take back the camera. When I bought my i950 printer that was broken out of the box and tried to return it the people at the camera store said that canon had asked them not to accept any returns on that printer as there were known problems with it. I thought it was B.S. but now hearing it elsewhere I am not so sure......

I'm seriously thinking of scrapping digital all together and going back to film. At least I know when film isn't going to work.

Can we see a copy of the Canon memo to the store please? Even then I'd think it was still a fake............
