The National Bison Range was one of America's first wildlife refuges. Being only 40 miles from my hometown it is one of my most often visited photography locations. I got this, my only good bison shot, a couple of years ago. It makes me long for summer and warmer weather.

You mention that the Bison Range is only 40 miles from your hometown - do you by any chance photograph wildlife there in the winter?

One of my favorite places to go. The bison right now seem to be in the quadrant along Ravalli Hill, none to be seen on the winter drive.
