Tim, has just lost 10Kg at Jenny Craig..
Whoops, I mean, is just passing 10,000 posts as I type.

Anyway, I'd like to thank Tim for being himself. Gaining vast knowledge through reading the forums, and redistributing through other posts, spreading the word for Canon.

It's impressive how far you've come, since you "joined" a couple of weeks after myself. I can remember the posts when you had 300D, and you asked a lot of questions. I guess questions pay off? (there's a question in itself)

Tim's even managed to squeeze some Mod duties in towards the end of last year, but with his busy schedule of posting on the forums, or was that photographing a wedding every weekend, and then post processing? Anyway, I know for a fact he's a very busy person. And just glad he has a better keyboard than CDS.. :lol:

So... Thanks again Tim, for allowing me to assist one of your weddings of last year, gave me some valuable tips.

There is no doubt that Tim is the fastest poster on this forum for any duration. Over his 414 days here he has managed to post an average of 24.1 posts per day. That's just insane.

Thanks Wazza, everyone, though i'm not sure congratulations are in order - perhaps commiserations are more appropriate for hitting such a high number. I think right now my posts make up a little less than 1% of the posts on POTN. Thanks again to Pekka for providing the forum for us all to learn from, and for the entertainment value too :)

Hopefully people have found my advice useful. I've learned so much from people here, special mention to Bloo Dog, Scott, Bob Gross, most of the mods, and no doubt many people who's names I don't recall right now. In 14 months i've gone from clueless n00b to semi professional doing weddings, a large part due to the help i've gotten here. With some time, practice, and a little luck, hopefully i'll keep getting better at this photography lark, which is now a major part of my life, and something I really love doing :)

Haha, a lot of my posts are done at work while I wait for my PC, i'm a software developer by day, builds can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, so I have plenty of time to hang around here and help people out :)

Nah I ask questions, read, and mostly try things out/practice/experiment a lot. I learn a lot doing weddings too. Plus i'm an engineer so the technical side isn't so difficult for me.
