This short film was shot entirely using a Canon 20D, pretty neat stuff and I love the shutter sound all throughout it.

wow with a 20d? how?
Burst mode and video editing software I would imagine. Oh and a REALLY big CF card, LOL (or maybe just hooked up to a laptop)
I wonder how the shutter held up.

That was fantastic! It was so good, in fact, that it inspired me to make one of my own. This SHORT FILM (http://i15.photobucket.com/albums/a380/rumjungle/AnimationNY2.gif) isn't critically aclaimed, but it was shot entirely on my Rebel XT. :D By the way, hum along to "Kung Fu Fighting" as you watch.
It's just too bad photobucket resized it so small.

The film itself is quite interesting, but the fact its captured with a 20D is very interesting.
If you put the 20D to JPEG at the lowest resolution, how many frames could you buffer (and with a fast CF card could you go on indefinately?).
Anyway, just an interesting thought.

there's been numerous threads about this going back to April 05.
search for patrykrebisz.
Imagine if DSLR's could do 24fps, you'd need a very big CF card.

So you think movies cannot be made on the 20D? Check this movie out, made by Patryk Rebisz - He made a whole shortfilm just with still-photos of a Canon 20D...

a magazine article here tells you more on how it was made:

Glad ya checked it out for us SB :)
Just wanted to be safe in case anyone is at work and their boss happens to catch that one frame and confuses it for something inaproperate.
I wonder if any parts failed on the 20D while making this. If not that'd be a great ad for Canon, don't ya think?

Thanks for the clarification, Leo, I kinda got round to working this out subsequently. Nontheless the film maker is an innovative person!
