Im at work right now and decided to clean my xt a lil. Had some dust on the eye piece, nose grease on the viewfinder. I was looking at the eyepiece extender from canon but then wondered if they have an eyecup. Did a quick ebay lookup and found some. Its not shaped to fit the eye socket itself but seems ok.
Does anyone have one on there xt or even the 20d? How do you like it?

I tried it in the store, it made the image quite a bit smaller and less bright, so I didn't get it. The viewfinder's small and dark enough already without making it worse, IMHO. I used an old, manual film slr the other day, the viewfinder was huge and bright!

I found that but I just took the two plastic leses out and it works a treat.
But I would like to hear views on bigger rubber eye cups that work, and some images of them in use if possible.

I had a small circular rubber eyecup. Bought several and kept loosing 'em. Went back to the OEM and learned to deal with it. At least it stays on.
