I have the 70-200 f4L lens and was thinking of getting the EF 1.4x II Extender. Has any one had any experience with this set up? How many stops will I loose?

I have a 1.4x and use it on 70-200 f2.8 and it works really well. I don't notice any loss in image quality at all and it still focuses great, etc. If you use it on your lens you will loose one stop.
