#1 isn't too bad, good timing on #2, but the rest of them seem to lack the action needed. #3 looks like he's getting off the wave, and the cutback in #4 isn't too impressive, and he's almost at the bottom of the wave.

I know how hard it can be to take surf pictures whenthe surfers are less than great.

Theyall look a little soft too. I have the same problem with my 100-400L but I'm convinced it's me and not the lens that is the problem. What is your method for focusing?
