I was covering a local school formal for our local newspaper, when I spoted this young couple posing for one of their friends, yes I know the backgound is under exposed It was just a point and shoot photo. comments welcome.

thats better :) its a fun shot and i like it but would crop just above the light to remove the dark top.

Your captured a great moment of fun for this young couple. This is what makes good memories. Keep shooting with whatever you have.

That's great. I just read an article on how we 'photographers' get too caught up in the art of taking photo's and often neglect to take snapshots- this pic reminds us why it's important to take those kinds of shots too. I was transported back to high school and my formal night where I took one date to the prom, and another one to the party after... but that's another story...

That's an awesome shot! I would never have thought it was with a PnS if you didn't tell =)
