canon fs2710 file scanner on W2k

I have installed the W2K software for the Canon FS2710 (only on the European site), and whenever
I try to configure, it says it has an error interrogating
the SCSI devices. The scanner is visible to the system-
in fact the system prompts me to install a driver. Anyone
solved this problem out there?

You need to install the ASPI driver for the SCSI card.

You can find it at www.adaptec.com

under downloads -> SCSI Software -> Windows ASPI Package.

Once this is installed all should be fine...
