I did one major Photoshop adjustment - What was it?

This kind of light is awesome on a dark complexion. It has a different feel on lighter complexions.
I used it also here:

But you have to guess the major PS used.

The light is something reflected from a mirror or other reflective surface. It looks quite directed so that's why I say a mirror. I'm not sure a reflector would give such a direct hit. Looking into the eyes shows little bulbs that look like a make-up mirror's lights... so a make-up mirror, directed into another mirror that bounces into the face of your model?

Or maybe it's a big flood light with a dark center covering...reflected off the mirror?

Okay so you are bouncing off of a large sheet of that reflective foam core board... you know the kind that is silver on one side and gold on the other.....

Yeah that's right... the reflector would not show those lights in the eyes..... Darn! I need to go to bed. Awesome photos! Love them and it's always fun to play a light guessing game... Nitey-Nite...

the DOF doesnt look out of camera.. the lips and eyes and tip of nose are both too sharp for the DOF to be that shallow..

Very nice! Is the light blue? The catchlights are confusing me though. They're so perfect. Did you add those?

Ring light plus you blured the background.

The second picture does indeed have some blue lights added but it's waaay too complicated for anyone to guess.

I'm still waiting for someone to guess the 1st image's lighting method as well as the MAJOR ps done.

Close - But this lighting is mounted on a stand, not the camera.

And the PS?

Did you level her head? (Her neck looks like it is on an angle)

(Is there a prize? - Like getting to do a shoot with some (any) of your models???)

I only cloned her face. I left the neck and shoulders as is as to attract attention to it.

As for working with the models I do. You need 1 of two things.
$$$ or represent a magazine.

Unfortunately no - What I offer is worth more as this isn't taught in any school.

Listen to me, I sound like Ghandi hehe.

That was my mistake in the interpretation then - I'm sorry.
I thought you meant eaither a ring flash or macro flash.

But don't worry about it - We all win here.

Large diameter ring light.

You mirrored her face in PS to only show one side.

Great game I wish other people would continue.

PS I didn't peak at later post to give my answer.

Looks like a ring light of sorts and it appears that you split the face vertically and then flipped it.

Oppps....too late

Interesting that you cloned the L/R sides of the face. I remember reading something a while back that the human brain determines beauty by symetery. The more symetrical the face, the more perceived beauty.
