I shot these the other night when I went out to dinner (what a great excuse to play with my new 70-200 f2.8!). I used to work for the fiddler as a light/sound techie. Comments and criticism appreciated.

Wow.

Those are some amazing shots!

I've not had a great deal of success using my 70-200mm f/2.8 when shooting bands, but these shots give me hope.

Nice job!

Steve

Great shots. Nice and sharp with excellent white balance and exposure. You and that wonderful lens have obviously become quick friends. :D

All good. I think #1 is best ...

I think all except #4 of the guy with his head tilted down are superb. This recent technology migration to microphones glued to the side of the head at sticking around in front of the face is a bit annoying, although fortunately I have not had to shoot any performers using it, yet! Very, very well done.

#1 and 2 are great! I like #3 as well. #4 doesn't do much for me, I'm not sure on #5: I like it very much (better then #3), except the expression.
