He might be away. He replied to me quickly when I wrote him 2 times.
Remember, he is probably swamped with emails though so understand that it may not get answered due to shear volume.
It might be better to post your question on this forum or dpreview forum. Many here use his actions and might be able to help you.

Does his PhotoShop actions really work?

Anyone know where can I see the photos "before" and "after" using his actions?

Hi Dave,

thx, I reached him at Rob Galbraith Forum. I'm from the press and have asked to review his actions and talk about them.

Hi tamp,

so far I tested the actions, I must say they work very well. They do the best but can not do any wonders (IsoR). I tried out also some filters from different companies and for high ISO the actions do the best job I've ever seen so far.

To the "before" and "after" look at his website at
http://www.fredmiranda.com/
there you will find examples before, after and often other products like filters or build-ins from PS.

thx and greets - Harl

Thanks Harl,

Apart from watching Fred's own demo of using his own Photoshop actions, I wish to see the ones from other "users". Especially, Pekka Saarinen's. ;-)

Tamp,

If you'd care to browse through my galleries:

http://www.rogercavanagh.com/photo_galleries.htm

"In the Park", "Around Banff" and "Hubbard Glacier" have all been processed using Pekka's LinearSharpen. If you check the commentary in Hubbard Glacier, I have included a couple of examples which show the previous version. I have also included a step by step example in the Tips section:
