Funniest mispell in a fair while :)

The stylesheet isn't tasking any font statements - its all Times Roman and the main text is tight against the column line - try the blockquote tag or pad it in a table cell.

It has an overall antique/classic library look to me.

Funniest mispell in a fair while :) Indeed!

EDIT: Ooops! I didn't mention the site! Is it about photography? I think I'd like to see a prominent photo or two on the home page. As it is, I'm not really tempted to read your philosophical meanderings... but I might be if the big block of text was broken up by some images.

As a result, I didn't get past the home page.

Load times are a bit slow but my main concern is the pictures are way to small. They are only slightly larger than the thumbnails. You really need them larger to do them justice.

The load times seem fine on my connection. I would have to agree that the images are way too small.

Sites shouldn't have a horizontal scroll bar at the bottom of the page. Font on left column is a little small. I would add a bit of padding before the content. I've seen simple reviewer before - looks like a pretty neat tool.

I agree - like the overall look - but as has been said it would be better with no horizontal line and the pictures are just toooo small.
I also noticed that on one of the portraits of a guy in the woods you can't see his head in the thumbnail but you can in the main picture.

But hey - it's a million times better than what I could do.

Thanks for your comments. I'm working on the galleries to make them look larger, but I would like to know which resolution you are using to view the website. I'm using 1024x768.

IMHO, design for the highest resolution... 640x480... You can get away w/ 800x600, but not much more than that... The more you limit your users, the more they will stay away...

Also, you have a major browser issue... IE looks fine and the pictures are half-way viewable in size... However, in Firefox, the images show up just slightly larger than the thumbnail... Also, you get two different results on the same page between the two browsers... Granted, I'm using beta 2 of IE7, but that's beside the point... Here are the screen shots...

Other than that, site looks very professional... I enjoyed the photos on the site... :)

I wouldn't bother about designing for 640x480. Anyone with running that res (which must be a very small proportion these days) probably has a ridiculously slow internet connection, and an old browser and flash player plugins anyway.

Website looks pretty nice overall!

I like the overall look of the site. The major problem was that the images appeared so small. I'm using Mozilla at 1280 and your images looked like thumbnails when I clicked on them. I really like your header and top menu, very slick. You need to clean up your front page. The two images that are there seem pointless, and the use of words like "we" "our" "us" etc. seems contrived.

I'm sorry if this sounds harsh, because I really like the overall look/theme you have going so far.
