I have a D60 bought in March 2003. Just 15 Days later the D 10 was announced. I am reasonably happy with the D60 but D10 is being hailed as the D60 replacement.
Hence the desire should I move to D10??? if so why?

I've had similar thoughts. The good news for me was I bought in late December rather than right before!
I contemplated doing the eBay thing while I could still get more than $1000 for the thing. I really got myself worked into thinking I had to have this latest thing.
But then, through reading posts here and serious soul searching, decided that the D60 was more camera than I am likely to ever use. Once I got that into my head I have really enjoyed using my new camera. I can't even remember the model number of that new thing Canon released!
From a technical point of view, I decided to await a full size sensor and upgrade then.
In the meantime I'll shoot and shoot and learn how to process my photos and print them on the Epson 2200 and get that all down pat. Oh, and I'll start to focus on taking photographs rather than pictures. Get my craft down a bit more. By then, Canon will have the D20 (or whatever) and I'll buy that.

Do you have any problem with your cameras ability to focus in low light? Is it enough of a problem to consider trading up to another camera for?
If you are happy enough with what you have, why not wait to see what the 10D replacement next year will offer.

I still use a D30 making 8x10's that look awesome. And for web work or screen viewing, you can't tell the difference between any of them. It's hard to justify unless you need the critical low light or fast action performance of a newer body. And if I did need those, I'd look at the 1D over the D10. Bottom line is that there is nothing wrong with my D30 and it still makes stunning photos so I'll upgrade only when a "deal" presents itself.

Well if you are getting good images out of a D60 then don't bother. I tried to buy a D60 but by the time I decided they were out of stock almost everywhere. I ended up with a 10D that has gone back to canon for repair only to be returned in the same conditon it was sent out in with a little note saying they had "fixed" it. I am at the point where I am cruzing the want ads looking for a deal on a D60. Yes, there are improvements in the 10D but there are new flaws as well. I say if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Canon seems to feel that if they deny that is broke it'll fix itself.
stick With the D60 and save yourself the headache.
