my tree with those "magnetic branches" for captureing little birds blew down in a recent storm ;(
So now I have to rely on my feeder ( on a stump) to see my little friends again....

too bad about your magnet, you seem to be doing just fine without it though, keep it up

:( Those shots are awesome shots. I agree with you about feeder shots. I like catching out in the wild. It is truly a challenge. But you feeder shots are great and I would love to call them my own.

Sorry about the tree:(

I'd miss the tree too! Can you cut some branches and set them up against the feeder?

Fantastic shots Troy :) Very sharp and amazing detail in these. I agree with eenorton, put some artificial branches near the feeder for the birds to perch on. I did this in my mothers garden with a wooden pole of about 1.5 inches with holes of different diameters drilled at random locations through the pole and then passed branches through the holes. The added bonus of this was I could place the pole in just the right place for some nice backgrounds. The birds may ignore it at first but will soon get used to it.
