When shooting in RAW do you that routinely bracket exposures do it in the field or just preform the task via your RAW software?

It's got to depend on what you shoot. Anything moving is 'of the moment' and a different shot. With raw, if you get the exposure bang on, there's a lot more you can bring out in processing.
I would certainly bracket a landscape or pack shot - it's the setting up that takes all the time, so why not.

I chimp the historam constantly, always trying to expose all the way to the right without blowing out. I just about always use Av mode, and bracket by adjusting EC. I'll then bring the exposure back in RAW mode.

Shot of a 'pack' Ok, it's basically just a product of any description that doesn't move. A bar of soap, box of cereal etc. Often used in advertising.
