Aww man, you had to show me up didn't you...I just posted my first ones today. I really like the lighting you created in some of these, like number looks really nice how'd you get the lighting something in PS?
I'm still trying to get that splash effect in #3, I guess I'll just have to work a bit more on my timing, whats really hard is if you have that splash with the water shooting up out of it.
I also really like #8...looks like some tornado effect with you having it turned upside down.
Check out my drops I posted if you have time, and C&C is more than welcome! http://photography-on-the.net/forum/showthread.php?t=131049

thanks for the comments. Actually, all of the coloring is done in Paint shop pro. You can easily do this in PSP or PS by duplcating the background layer and making it (background layer) a color or a gradient. Now work with the "copy of background layer" and change the blend mode (darken, lighten, hue etc.). This will create some interesting effects. The key is to experiment with the type and color of background.
I actually screwed up trying to get these shots, I had my camera on manual mode and didn't realize the aperture was way to low. It made it much harder to get a drip that was focused. Live and learn :)
I'll check out your shots.
