I was outside a governmental building, and saw these planters, and with the flag stuck in the planter, it just got me thinking.

Not my usual type, but I like this. Well spotted. You might want to try playing with the wording though, it would be punchier with a shorter statement.

Thanks Big_B, the comment is much appreciated. This is a great forum with everything, you would like too know, need too know. In fact , there is too much on here to see, read, and learn. Without living here, I have to go home for a vacation soon.

and go back there and raise the flag a bit, its touching the ground... A government building should know better... and it needs a spot light too!
lol.. just some observations.. I love my flag!

Well, I cann't argue there, there are 6 planters, I will check them, and see if they all might be touching the ground, I did not think they were, but it looks close in the picture. But the big flag, is on a pole, and we do have lights on it.
Thanks for bringing the code of displaying the flag up.

I understand you views, but if it would make a difference, everyone of them Volunteered to keep you and I free. They did not volunteer, for us to feel sorry for them, they are doing it with pride, and that is how we should feel about them.
I am not trying to speak negative against you, I read your post, and I can tell you are understanding of the situation.
I probably just have different input and ideas on the subject. My wife is a 1st Lieutenant nurse, in the Army Reserves, and my oldest son is in the Army working his way up through the ranks, in the medical field. He is currently prepareing for deployment as medical combat EMT support. They both volenteered willing, THERE IS MUCH MORE GOOD, coming out of the war, than we HEAR ON THE NEWS. This is why they don't have a drafted Army as of now, there would be too many complainers. Granted, it's not for everyone, and some do feel, they made a mistake, and sometimes rightfully so.
When one's eyes have been opened, they learn, they really never saw who they were.

Well, I did not know anything was wrong with it, but I will remove them. But now, the picture will lose a few gramar comments. Thanks for looking and leaving a comment, it's probably, because I did not like English class.

"Freedom"
Once planted, somone is always trying to uproot it.
