Suggestions

I am going to a car show thats coming through town today and i know its all indoors and under flourescent lighting. I have the rebel xt, with the sigma 18-200 f3.5-6.3 lense on it. was wondering if i should go without a flash (speedlite 430ex) or with it? what are some suggestions for the lighting as far as settings go?

these events are very well lit, i wouldnt think the flash is needed.

you'd be surprised. The lighting varies a lot during the events. I shot the DC auto show last year and didn't take the flash.. I took my 50 1.8 however and spent a lot of time shooting very low av's and ISO 800.. I would say take the flash just to be safe.

yes better safe than sorry. Bring plenty of batteries and memory though
