My company had it's yearly party in rock style this time, so I had a great opportunity to practice photographing "performing arts". The lighting was pretty good, so I shot most of the pics at ISO 1000, f/2.2, 1/200. Most are with 50/1.4 and some with 85/1.8. I shot mostly from right in front of the stage, where the 50/1.4 proved excellent focal lenght (with 5D).

There were four performers, each representing a decade or era. 70's was done by Elvis (seemed fake, did not take pics), 80's by Estonian cult group Propeller (they were very popular, but usually banned by authorities that time), 90's by our company's own band (their second live performance), and 00's by Tanel Padar & The Sun, quite popular guys right now here in Estonia. Not that I expect anyone to know these names, but images are somwehat worthless without knowing who's on there.

Few examples:

I have full gallery here (http://www.zone.ee/CanonG3/Hansarock) if anyone cares to look. When clicking this link, some marketing bla-bla probably appears, please click at the link again there in the first sentence, it should take you to the gallery.

Thanks Dwight for pointing out the need to improve my presentational skills!

I wouldn't expect too much feedback given your presentation. If you don't have time to show one or two here before we go clicking links to unknown websites perhaps that's all we need to know.

Very nice. But do fix that link to go directly to the website, without the spam.

#2 and 3 are supurb...colors and composition are dead-on balls. Nice captures.

Nice!
I like #2 except the foreign arm is distracting.
