Hi everyone. I've been working on a new photography site for people here where I live.

I'm not 100% done with it, but it's to the point where it's functional.

I'm looking for your thoughts and critiques.

Please be honest, I'm really trying to make this a useful site.

Well.........

I'm on a DSL connection and the home page loaded slow, about 8-9 secs......Not Super slow but if your on a dial-up, I'm sure it would suck! Usually if it doesn't come up when I click the link...I just close it and move on??!

Ok... I'll see what I can scrunch down on the graphics. I'm on a shared server and sometimes I'll get a pause because the server's busy.

Ok... I've gone through and made several articles in each area non-registered. I want to keep a balance.

I'm going to work on the graphics today and see what I can squash down to save a little download time and see if that helps speed any people up.

Where does it feel slow.. is it in the site returning text or in the graphics displaying after the content has come down? I havn't turned on cashing yet... that should help too.

I get a blank screen till it all loads.......

OK, I've turned the cashe on, it make take some hits before pages get out there. What browers are you hitting me with?

MUCH Better!!!!!!! about 2-3 secs.:D It took me 3 hits to get the speed...

I'm using Internet Explorer version 6.0

nice site, I like the layout a lot. some great articles on there too. looks like you solved the slowness issue, loaded right away for me.

loads up slow the first time, subsequent times much faster, good job
