The first rule of voting. Please please please leave a comment when you vote. This contest really comes alive when people just drop in,say hi and perhaps tell us why they voted for a particular photo. It makes the contest more fun and gives really great feedback for the photographers.

Other stuff:
The poll will remain open for 7 days.
You can vote for three photos. Your vote will be public. Remember you need to vote for all 3 photos at the same time.
Please don't vote for your own photos!
As before there will 1st, 2nd and 3rd place positions.
No prizes, sorry
I will be announcing the names (aliases) of the people who win. Send me a PM if you don't want your name to be announced.

So I'm the first to vote ey? Since I voted for my photo maybe I could say why I submitted it? Well, it's low angle for one and the texture on the door really creeped me out. I loved the colors in it too. Good luck everyone!

Okay, I'm stupid. How do I view all the photos? I can only get 12 of them or something like that from the other link. What am I doing wrong?

Please remember that you aren't allowed to vote for your own photo. We know you like it (otherwise you wouldn't have submitted it ;)), so it's much more fun if you vote for other peoples' :)

There were too many interesting pics to choose from. I couldn't decide. My wife and I picked together and we had a hard time agreeing. I especially liked the textures and industrial quality of 21, and the colors in 40. They were all good.

I have to go with #10 because the theme "Low Angles" hits home in this interesting photo.
Then #3 is another Great worms eye view.
And #19 is a whole lot of angles ( the perspective)

Great entries guys, I really liked the colours of #40 along with the low angle it made a very aptly titled image for this contest.
The other ones i voted for were #03 and #04.

I liked #4 the most from this whole bunch.

Good luck to all entrants :)

Wow, I've voted in these contests before and this was the toughest. In the end I went with

26 - I'm a winner nice depth of field, cute kid and a great pose.
33 - Pillar 99 Nice depth of field and great colors, I feel like I'm there when I look at it.
41 - shoes great shadows and reflection, nice rich colors

wow, this one was really tough.

I ended up voting for 4, 12 and 41 (my favorite overall). I also really like Mushroom Parade, just wish it were a tad sharper.

excellent work by all!

Choices and Reasons:
#41: I really like the light and composition of this one
#8: Very cool subject matter, love how the angles of the irons draw the eye and the pattern from the different hole patterns in the irons
#16: I like the DOF and composition of this one

My choices and reasons
#16 - Composition is very nice. Colors are rich and the grass is trimmed nicely :-)
#21 - The line of the chain seems to take me into my own imagination, it's anybody's guess what's at the end.
#37 - Interesting angle, that's the main reason I voted for this one

Done. And at this very early point of voting, many seemed to agree with me :D . It wasn't easy, still. I tryied to avoid those "too obvious" cases (buildings etc.).

Regards (and maybe finally also taking part to the next one, #38, myself)

My choices -
#37 - an unusual setting and I'm a sucker for anything with a repeated pattern
#40 - great drama, colours and perspective
#41 - again, an unusual setting/subject. I love the composition and lighting in particular.

My votes
#5 - Love the expression on the kid
#10 - It just looks like a fun picture to me
#37 - Wish I could think of a picture like that

Good luck to all the people that submitted pictures...... it was a hard choice to pick just three

I chose #19 as my favourite. I like the clean lines and clear perspective. I think the blended look to the sky adds something extra to it as well.
I liked the soft lighting and rich browns in #41.
In #26 I thought the DoF and composition was good but basically I just liked the sheer innocence and joy that is captured in the photo.

I voted #10 because the photo fits the Low and the Angles theme.
Hard to decide on the others. There's a lot of low angles pictures that are good that fit the theme well. Nice one people.

Another vote for 38 ..... and my other two are 33 and 45.

BTW - Is this how you vote? Just by posting? Or am I missing something?

I voted for #11 and #37, because I felt that they best captured the essence of "low angles" by being shot from very low perspectives, as opposed to just looking up at something ("looking up" could be a contest unto itself).
I really like the B&W conversion on #37, and the composition is excellent. This one should be matted and framed and hanging on the wall of the CEO of a construction firm.

swphotoimaging....Interesting you suggest that, as I took that photo on one of my jobsites along with a few others. Ive taken photography seriously only in the last year or so, mostly as a result of my work in the Construction field. I work with a mid-sized concrete superstructure company in NYC and from time to time take progress photos of jobs and always carry the camera with me to snap any snafu's on the jobsite ect... Thank you all for the constructive critiques, This was my first post to POTN and I have found some great knowledge, which I will incorporate into my photography.

This is the building the photo in the competition originated from. Chelsea Arts Gallery 545 West 25th St NYC
