Canon G1 and Epson Printers

Can anybody tell me if the G1 supports the Print Image Technology of the new Epson Photo Printers?

I don't think so. In Epson Film Factory, picture with PIM encoded will show up with PIM legend.
I did not see any legend with any pictures that I took.

The G-1 was introduced perhaps 6+ months before the PIM format was announced.
