I don't want to rehash the 1D MK2 N Is it worth the upgrade?

Anyone who owns both 1D MK2 and 1D MK2 n have you noticed a difference in your images between the two models?

I have noticed a significant difference between the two cameras. My raw images are sharper, and auto focus seems more consistent with my MK2 N.

At this point I am considering sending my MKII back to Canon for repairs and or recalibration. I don't feel that there should be a big difference between the two models. I am more incline to think my 1D Mk2 is just a lemon.

I am curious to hear from other forum members who own both cameras.

JX .. I asked this very question a few weeks back as I had heard of a number of individuals with the same expeirince as you...

I'll see if I can find the thread.. the results to the question seemed to favor the "MkIIN is better" theory...

I like my MkIIns better, but I think my problem was mental. I lost faith in the MkII and was dreading shoots.

You can see for yourself.

This first link was shot using a 1DII in January.

This second link was shot using a 1DIIN last weekend.

and for the fun of it, this third link was shot using a 5D.

All of these shots were shot in JPG and only Levels, USM were used to process.

I have not noticed too much of a difference in the AF by the way.

I don't get how you can say there is a image difference between the 2, notihng on that end was changed. If I was just purchasing a first one, of course get the N, but to take a substantial loss to "upgrade" seems out of the question, atleast to me
