Ok everyone. One of the things I enjoyed from the G3 forum (I recently upgraded to the 10D) was the sharing of photos. Since it's the Fourth of July, how about we share some Fireworks shots! This will be my first attempt :) I'll share some here if I have any luck tonight. :) Happy Fourth!

Excellent shots Dan! I was looking over several across many forums and yours were really nailed properly! Any tips you can share with all of us as they are perfect. F-stop / speed?

Hi Marley,

It looks like your camera was not on a very stable support. You really need a rock steady tripod to get great fireworks images. Then the use of a remote release helps to keep the camera from vibrations caused by pressing on the shutter release.

Well thanks to the info obtained here on the forum I gave it a shot yesterday!
Here is a link to my fireworks photos - obviously I have a ways to go, lol!

I do appreciate the help I get here (usually just lurking) & would invite comments on how I can make these better.

Great Shots! Mine turned out suboptimal as I remained home due to an extended power outage in our area. (Dang). Really wonderful shots!
