Hi,

Adorama (I believe) sell "Canon factory refurbished" 420ex for a good price. Would you recommend that? Any experiences, advice, insights welcome!

I love finding factory refurbished gear. Chances of future failure with refurb gear are lower than with brand new stuff. The problem has already happened and been fixed. A complete rebuild at the factory. I trust refurbs more than "new".

420EX is a good flash, I have one.
