Well I waited around to try to get a flight shot, Was sure he would take off. He waited around to see if I had any food. So in the end I took this, and gave him a bit of my sandwich. We both ended up happy

Thank you kawwauser. I agree These gulls can be a pest in towns and cities. This one however, does feed (at times) as he should. This was taken at the small highland village of Plockton in Wester Ross, Scotland. The locals certainly will not feed them. And in winter and away from the main season, there are not enough tourists. But they are not gonna let any oportunity go by  Neither did I once I realised he was not going to fly off. :) I really would love to get a good shot of these birds following a fishing boat.
Thank you Paul, I think the fact that he does get his proper diet helps.
Thank you B.C. Kit lens. Shutter speed 1/200. AV 5.6. ISO 100. Wish I had tried the macro lens, I am finding that is a lot more versatile that I thought it would be.
Thank you Skade. Am pleased with this one myself. I had resigned myself to not really getting any decent bird shots until I can afford my next lens. I could not really go wrong with him posing like he did though :D

Put that info in last post Dimitri. Was EF-S 18-55 Kit Lens. I was actually to near him to use the macro. Did not think to use it. Wish I had now, could have got a really good head shot. Thank you for looking.
