I am planning to visit a friend in Halifax in February. Never been there and was wondering if anyone can give me ideas on where to go, what to do, good places for photo ops.

Peggys Cove about an 45minutes to an hour outside of town is one of the most photographed spots in Canada. Do some quick googling on it (Or search here on POTN, its been posted many times) and you'll find many hits. Its a great spot for shots.

The Citadel is a large fort right in the middle of downtown which offers lots of shooting opportunities as well as the town clock. There's always the waterfront boardwalk too which unfortunately won't be as lively this time of year as it would be in the summer. Still a nice place to wander for an afternoon though.
