Excellent Cap0ne, the second picture in particular is brilliant. I could easily see that being used on a greetings card or advertising poster. Such an expression it immediately captures the attention.

This is my first post, so I'm not sure if the picture will even be visible. This is Lucky, my adopted 4 or 5 year old Pit Bull mix. He loves to play tug-of-war with his own leash.....we've lost many leashes this way.

Hi, this is my first post here. If I get this right, there will be a few shots here taken with a 40D. The Mastiff is a rescue, about three years old and the other is a rescue as well, but a Heinz 57 mix, we think GSD and Border Collie, about 8 years old.

While I dont disagree dogs are fabulous critters and my two are certainly my best friends.

My Cat is equally fabulous, just in a different way. I dont think I could pick one over the other.

Here is Bonzai my 4 yr old shiba(probably 1 yr old in the pic) with my cat, Jack, who passed a couple years ago during an emergency bladder surgery. Photo taken with a 5 or 6 yr old Fuji P&S.

And here Bamboo, my 2 yr old shiba(1 yr old in the pic) with his new friend Oliver the cat(who is a couple months old in the pic but just turned a year recently).

Here's our new pup, Lady. We haven't had dogs in about 15 years (we lived in town and no place to keep them). Now we have 5 acres in the country and room to play. We've been told she is a Chow-German Shepherd mix. She was a drop off at my Mom and Dad's, a couple miles from our home.

No, that's the thing. Inside her mouth (gums, tongue) is not dark at all. I'm not sure what type of dog she is, but we're taking her to the Vet Monday for shots and getting her "fixed". Maybe they can tell us more. She is a good dog, though. She likes to lay around on the deck with my wife and I. She's very playful in the morning and loves to run around and fetch toys and such.

Hi, just got a Canon 450D for about a month, and still learning how to take picture correctly,

My husband and I decided to add another member to out littl family and we met him for the first time on monday at the breeders. He's just over 4 weeks old in this pic and we get to bring him home on June 29th! So can't wait!
