heres a couple of our puppy shes 14 weeks on friday. shes one of the smartest dogs i know (not just saying that). i dont know if its our hard work with obedience or what, she was sitting on command a week after we got her (9weeks). we originally wanted to adopt a bully but the shelters didnt want to adopt one to a younger couple, plus breeding any bully breed in ontario is illegal so we went with a breed that has similarities and is another extraordinary breed.

Here's the latest from our home... 6-month old Molly... she loves to look out the window.. and Alyssa decided it would be a good time to give Molly a huge hug. I can't tell you how quickly I ran to grab my camera.

First of all, Kaylynh, thank you for the compliment. It's only fitting that the sweetest eyes should belong to the sweetest dog.

Kristy, yes, I did brighten the eyes. The flash was bounced off the ceiling and Millie's peepers tend to get lost in the shadows created by her big hairy head. The whites of her eyes are very striking when you see her "in person" and I wanted that to be reflected in the photo. The brightness needs to be toned down but the copy I posted was the most accessible to me at the time.

A new shot of Fred. Finding how hard it is to shoot a black and white subject. I still really like this shot though. I did some farther from the flowers for more isolation/bokeh, but the color and exposure weren't quite right. I am out of practice and just went to P mode on my 40D. :(
