Here's my dog Dave (Red Backpack). Dave was found in a cardboard box on the side of the road when he was about 3 weeks old. We rescued him and he has become such an amazing dog. About that time my father was diagnosed with aids and Dave helped turn my dad out of a deep depression and now they are inseperable. He truly is an amazing dog.

Now this is a thread for me! On page 11 I saw a dog that looked just like my Brandy and I've never seen another dog like her. She's such a weird mix.

The first pic is my girl Ginger, a lab/huskey mix. She's got a blue eye which I affectionally call her Demon Puppy Eye and a brown eye.

And here is Reddohg... pronounced red-doughg :) His real name is "Reddleg" named by my Brother in laws "squad", I think it is, in the Army when they were in Iraq. He was just a puppy, and they found him, the only one of all his siblings to survive a bombing of an amunition dump. We now have him and though he's out of control and spastic, he's one of the sweetest dogs you'll ever meet....until he steals your pizza when you're not looking :P

I have never seen a dog like that in the snow seem sooo bored... ..

This is what a good dog looks like when told to "sit" for the picture. When I released him from the command he was back in the snow.

Dingo... love this shot..background..way it fades to grey, but the paws... beautiful they are...don't fit with the pic Hope I am wrong on this one

I am not 100% sure what you mean. Those really are 100% genuine Dingo paws that were attached to Dingo when the pic was shot. I do remember some PP around the paws and front legs because of some shadows. And it is a bit oversharpened in that area.

Sara..stay away from the plastic light/sunset...

The pic was taken in a soccer field, the light was the flash from my G5 and the sunset was real and behind Sara at the time. Not too much PP on this one.

This is my Zoey Lee, she's half German Shepherd/half Australian Shepherd. She's playing with my niece who happens to be sitting in Zoey's pool. Check out the look and the tongue...looks like she's mad at my niece for being in her pool.:)

I love the photo of Bonzo in the field of flowers. It always makes me smile.

This is my dog Basil. He's a 12.5 year old Whippet. That's his cat in the background. They only like each other when there's a patch of sun to share.

Here are our two doggies. Bella is a German Shepherd cross Kelpie (we think - she was rescued from the pound without any paperwork), and Mickey is a miniature foxy (my wife's dog ;-))

these shots are so great...i have a rebel xt brand new with the kit lens...i took some pictures with my dogs but i have to get so close to them with that lens i was wondering what good lenses are out there for taking these kind of pictures i see with your dogs running and all that or playing at more than a 15 foot distance, i was looking at a Tamron 18-200mm 3.5-6.3 but the aperture looks like itll be bad but idk what else to get in that price range (300-400) thanks -Daniel

Here are a couple of my relatives dogs. we did our family summer camping trip this last week. It was nice but there was very bright light and very dark shawdows where we were camped so the picture taking was tough...
