You should be very proud of this capture. Black dogs -- or black whatever -- are very difficult to photograph. The exposure is right on. Very very nice.

I got to test out my AI Servo on my 20D and Tamron 28-75 this weekend by getting my dog Foxy to run around and chase the ball. got a few good ones, but I'm very impressed with the lens / cameras ability to maintain focus and take sharp photos rapidly!

Hello all, being a newbie, I've been lurking for a while and this is my first post. Been reading everything trying to educate myself, I have a lot to learn. Came across this thread and figured I contribute. I went through every page and didn't see to many bearded collies, this is Gracie. This is a bad picture with a point and shoot. I currently have the XTI with a not very good Quantaray 100/300 lens. Saving my pennies for something better. I've been mostly taking shots of my daughters soccers games ( mostly blurry, but getting better) and landscapes. I'll try and post some in the future

Thanks, Pat. We've been Pap ambassadors - or I should say, Sparks is - he has so much personality, we get asked all the time what breed he is, b/c people fall in love almost immediately.
