Does anyone know how to get those cool pictures u see in snowboarding shots, when theres like 10 pics on one so u can see what the person is doing thoughout the whole trick. and if the canon a510 can take them. (probably not the best explaination, hopfully u know what im talkin about)

Sometimes it takes a little long than 40mins for people to see your thread and reply :)
I know what your talking about, and yes you can do it with an A510, but you won't get 10 photos of someone snowboarding.
You need to shoot on high speed drive, and you should get maybe 4-5 images.
You also need to keep the camera in the same position, so shooting from a tripod is best.
Then you simply combine the differnt photos in photoshop, you choose one to use as the base image with background in it, then add the others over the top as new layers, and either cut out and keep the park you to show, or erase the rest. Then adjust the opacity of each extra layer till it looks good. :)

I assume you are talking about cloning. Using photoshop and the cloning brush you can "paint" from many images to create one image with the subject appearing many times in the same shot. Is this what you mean?

I don't know the A510 first hand but what you are looking for is the "burst mode". It's still not likely to be fast enough to capture 4-5 images from 1 jump. Shoot multiple images with the EXACT same exposure of the same jumper and hope for the best.

Yeah, you definately won't be that many from a single jump. My A610 only gets 2.4fps (thats coming from dpreview.com which is very reliable for info)
Really, I'd just concentrate on get a really nice composition on one of the boarders, I've seen pictures of what your talking about, and I'd imagine you'd have to have a much speedier camera to get that done such as a 20D (5fps) or the well known EOS - 1D Mark II N which gets (8.5fps).
You ought to try and get a nice shot of a boader right as their coming off of a ramp, or whatever you guys call them, try and capture the snow flying and the guy in mid air. You'll have to practice your panning for this as well. Go here to read all about what "panning" is. http://www.ephotozine.com/techniques/viewtechnique.cfm?recid=221
