I dreamt the hole of ragin bull in colour, just didn't work for me. I couldn't tell who was in the red shorts
Julia, im afraid we only ever dream in BW because of the images we see. There's no recorded cases of dreaming in BW before the advent of film and picture:( We actually nearly always dream in colour

The only thing I can possibly add to this thread is that if you decide to take Melatonin prior to bed, you will dream not only in vivid color (Velvia or better), but you will have weird dreams. Very weird. Cartoon characters will be your closest friends.

No chance you're finding melatonin on the shelf here. Not the safest stuff to just randomly start taking.

Oh, but then you have to think about how so many scientists believe that nothing is "in color", and that any colors that we see are created by our mind.
I'm not saying I go with that, so don't ask me about this theory, but that's what they say. Makes no sense to me.

I can only remember my dreams for about 5 minutes after I wake up. I usually write them down as soon as I wake up.
I live with my father and stepmother, and have for the past 12 years, but my real mother lives right down the street, and she's a nurse, so lemme tell ya, she's got some scary drugs. She has KCl in syringes, Tylenol 4 in mass doses, vicodin, liquid morphine, epinepherine also in syringes, and just any other scary thing you can think of. Needless to say I don't go there alone.

lets say i know im dreaming and im about to have sex with a beautiful girl. well ill try to do it casue i realize im dreaming, and bam she turns into a unicorn or soemthing and then my car gets hit by a horse...or something way far out. i only sleep about 5 hours a night so when i do sleep its pretty solid and i cant remember my dreams.

I have the 3 mg version, but I break them in half and take 1/2, only when I have to pull 12 hour day shifts. I have a nasty habit of not wanting to go to bed at 9 PM without a little coaxing. I found the whole 3 mg was too much, and I wanted to sleep for 10+ hours rather than 7-8 which is generally what I get when I'm not restricted by the alarm clock.

No not over the counter lol :p
Melatonin is available in health-food stores here in the US. Of course, once the government realizes that it's useful and effective, they will likely want to make it a prescription med instead. They love that control thing, and they hate that people might actually be responsible for their own selves sometimes.

Sounds like she's got here own MASH unit! :D
I'm clinging on to those last 3 Hydrocodone pills in case the back locks up again. I went through bloody hell getting the prescription filled, and I'm not about to flush them on the expiration date. If they don't work, I've got aspirin. :)

We can get it from the health food shop here, although it only contains 1mg of Melatonin. I take 3mg will no problems at all.. Im asleep by 9 and my natural body clock wont let me sleep past 4am. Without it, im lucky to get 3-4 hours sleep. With it, I feel like Ive had a weeks worth of sleep every night! :)
