New in digital photo, with the g3, any tips?

I need sugestions for the settings in different situations, especially in the best configuration for C1 and C2. Thanks

Since I shoot a lot with AV mode, my C1 is a somewhat modified AV mode that has auto exposure bracketing enabled for uncertain shots of mine (typically tripod shots in weird lighting situations). This has saved me several times and a good way to "teach" yourself about exposure settings for certain situations. The down side is it eats up more space and isn't of much value for moving shots.

I have recently saved setting C2 with this "point and shoot" hyperfocal method (search: hyperfocal), but haven't really tried it out to vouch for it... others have.
