So, I had some luck with the sunset last night... here I am forgetting the Idaho weather rules, which states that
'if you don't like the weather wait five minutes'
And I decided to get up and try to catch some morning shots thinking that I have all of these snowcaps and it will be coupled with blue skys, not!! woke up to a foot of snow and it's still coming down. So, instead I come on here, and realized I reached 500 posts... in honor of the occasion :p :p this is my heartfelt thanks for all of the growing, and learning i've done. Everyone has been so incredible and patient with me I appreciate it more than you can know so Thank you all so much for the time I've spent here. This is probably the first online forum that i've ever belonged to. I can name off some of my favorites, robertlay over in critique... (I got a compliment from him sometime back, and was very thrilled.:D :D ). Going in and viewing CharlesU's glamour work because it's just incredible. I love looking at DV2004 in landscapes ( the more I see of Scotland the more I really want to see). And all of the moderators, especially CDS they all have such good attitudes and are so helpful and do so much to keep this forum what it is. hats off to everyone... I guess 1,000 is next....

Heck, I didn't even realize last night when I hit 3,000. Granted, my name won't change again for another 2,000, but there's something about "3,000" that I like. Why, you can just call me "Mr. 3,000". ;-)

Well Michael, I get two days off from being stuck at home each week. (Yes, condyk, I "work"). On those two days, I shoot a thing or two. I guarantee you, though, I will be shooting like a wild man after Tuesday when I get my 100-400L.
However, when I'm not out there, half of the rest of the time is spent on here. Ok, not that much. It's a lot though. At least a few hours a day. With the speed I read, and RoadRunner Business Class, it doesn't take long to see all the new posts there are. I also type about 120 wpm. ;-) Lots to be done in such a short time. :-)

What is (Beep Beep) Roadrunner Business Class may i ask. I know you are a student.

A student? Me? Nooo...I finished college 2 years ago, and haven't done a thing with the degree (paralegal/pre-law). Road Runner business class is a faster, more secure, more network-able (if that were a word) version of RoadRunner, which is Time Warner Cable's (one of the biggest cable companies in the country) take on broadband internet access.

Jeez Ron, I kind of thought this was your job...
I was looking at my files today and realize that I shoot atleast five days a week. Haven't quite figured out how I manage that, three classes this semester, a fulltime job, and a part time job...
and then I realize that I average three hours of sleep a night. :D :D I do my homework between one and three in the morning, work from eight in the morning and then again at five until eleven or so and shoot photos on my light days. (usually only one job and class)... Oh well it is crazy to see the lengths we'll go when we enjoy something...

Understand, though...in my two real days of shooting each week, I cumulatively turn out a good 1,500 or more shots.
No, photography isn't a profession in the sense that I "need" to do it for money. No, I'm fortunate enough to not have to worry about "paying the bills" at the moment. Oh, I'm sure that'll all change, but for now, I'm happy. Don't get me wrong- lots of people ask me to shoot this and that, and I do it, and they pay me. I just don't have to.
Photography is just my release. I'm one stressed out guy. Speaking of that, I need some paxil.

mmmm. OH, yeah..... i'm sure I can, now all I have to do is actually go into the glamour forum and look at it from time to time. :) :) ......it's actually the only spot on here that I don't frequent too often. I just don't have an abundance of beautiful naked ladies to photograph...... Not sure if I could photograph a naked lady at all..... definately something for another day though.
